W-2 Forms

If you gave electronic consent to receive your W-2 form electronically, your W-2 form should now be available on Merlin. If you did not give electronic consent, paper copies of W-2's will be mailed out by Tuesday, January 24, 2012 to your permanent address on file. If you have questions about this, you should contact Human Resources in Old Main.

I will be gone

Hello!

I am going to be gone starting January 18th through the 26th. I will be back the 27th. So, if you need to call in sick, call the information services desk (630)637-5715. If you can't get coverage for shift you need off, call Belinda (630)637-5703. Any other questions, direct them Belinda.

If you have any questions I can answer between now and tomorrow, let me know!

Just a little friendly reminder that it is cold and flu season. Many people have gotten very sick already. So please remember to wash your hands, use the antibacterial wipes and gel at the desk!

Reminder: Communicate!

Hi!

I hope this first week back to school has been fantastic for you all. This is just a little reminder to communicate. I have had two instances today of people telling me they spoke with someone here about a situation that I should have known about. One was about lost books on someone's account and the other was about a personal item being returned in the bookdrop. Please be sure to communicate with the appropriate people so that we can better serve the patrons.

Access Services Students

Hello!

This is only for the daytime access services student assistants: you have newly assigned sections. You can find your specific section on your personal schedule page under your calendar.

Let me know if you have any questions. I will be checking these sections constantly to see if you are doing what you should be.

Welcome Back!

I hope all of your breaks were fantastic and you are revved up to be back at school! I know I am excited to see all of you.

Please remember that sometime today we need you to come in and confirm your schedule. Do this by 5pm today, otherwise it may be a while before we can have it officially fixed.

While you were gone we changed the video and cd collection. Most of the videos have been integrated into the stacks, they still have the 1 week check out time but they are in with the books now. All videos that have to do with film or music are in the new Giere, which is located at the top of the stairs in the main lobby. All cds have been moved the same place as well. You know that they belong there while shelving because the call number starts with the word GIERE.
