Elevator

We've had a problem come up a couple times with the elevator where if no one is riding in it, the gate can come open a little, which makes the elevator stop between floors. I just wanted to recommend that you ride in the elevator if you're going to use it because then if the gate comes open a little, you can close it and restart the elevator and we don't have to spend time and money waiting for ThyssenKrupp to come out here. I totally understand though that if you're not comfortable riding it, that's fine too, this is just a suggestion.

Hope you both had a good spring break and welcome back to spring term! Just a reminder that the library will be closed this weekend for Easter. We close at Noon on Friday, April 2 and do not re-open until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 5. Hope you have a great weekend!

Your Spring Term schedules are up on the Student Assistant website. Spring Term schedules start Monday, March 29, 2010. Please be sure to see Belinda or myself on Monday, March 29th to confirm your schedule, and we will handle any conflicts at that time.

Finals Week Schedule

The finals week schedule is up on the website. You can find your individual schedule here and click on your name. Please remember that you are expected to work your regular Winter Term schedule through Saturday, March 13, 2010. You are expected to work your Finals Week schedule beginning Sunday, March 14, 2010. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Periodicals Display Table

Please watch the Periodicals Display Table closely. We have had several incidents of vandalism or things going missing. Throughout the course of your Periodicals Desk shift please get up and go over to that case periodically, check on the items and straighten them. Also look over at the table regularly.
