Winter Break Positions

Oesterle Library has a limited number of student assistant positions available for the Holiday Break. The library will be open 7:45-4:30 p.m. on the following dates during the Holiday Break:

• Thursday-Friday, December 12-13
• Monday-Friday, December 16-20
• Monday-Tuesday, December 30-31
• Thursday-Friday, January 2-3

If you are interested in working during this time, please complete an application no later than Monday, November 25^th. Please be sure to indicate which days you will be available to work.

The end of the semester is rapidly approaching!  Please complete the following instructions as we prepare schedules for Finals Week and Spring Semester.

1.      FINALS WEEK - All students are expected to work their regular work schedule through Wednesday, December 4^th.  A finals week schedule is being prepared for Thursday, December 5^th through Wednesday, December 11^th.  All student assistants are required to sign up to work a minimum of eight hours during finals week.  There will be a folder on a stand on the end of Heidi's desk, sign up for your hours there.

2.      SPRING SEMESTER SCHEDULES - All student assistants who plan to work Spring Semester will be assigned a work schedule before they leave for the Holiday Break.  (If for any reason you don’t plan to work next semester, please let Heidi know right away!!)   The appropriate form should be completed to indicate when you will be available to work during Spring Semester.  Please complete the form carefully and thoughtfully!  Also, remember that any form that does not leave enough hours for us to work with when assigning schedules will be returned for revision.  All forms should be given to Heidi by 5:00 on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 25^th.

Max hours per week

Hello!

This is just a little reminder, no one is allowed to work more than 20 hours per week unless you have gotten it approved by HR.  This means if you pick up extra shifts they cannot combine with your regularly scheduled shifts and equal more than 20 hours from Sunday to Saturday.
