Hello,

I noticed that Neena's heater was out at the front desk.  Please do not take items from people's area unless you really need them.  And if you do use them, put them back where they belong.

Please be respectful.

End of Term Matters

The end of the term is rapidly approaching!  Please complete the following instructions as we prepare schedules for Finals Week and Winter Term.

1.      FINALS WEEK - All students are expected to work their regular work schedule through Saturday, November 18th.  A finals week schedule is being prepared for Sunday, November 19th through Wednesday, November 22nd.  All student assistants are required to sign up to work a minimum of four hours during finals week.  Please see Heidi or fill out the schedule that is on her desk by 5:00 on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7th to sign up for your hours.

2.      WINTER TERM SCHEDULES - All student assistants who plan to work Winter Term will be assigned a work schedule before they leave for D-Term.  (If for any reason you don’t plan to work next term, please let Heidi know right away!!)   The appropriate form should be completed to indicate when you will be available to work during Winter Term.  Please complete the form carefully and thoughtfully!  Also, remember that any form that does not leave enough hours for us to work with when assigning schedules will be returned for revision.  All forms should be given to Heidi by 5:00 on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7th.

If you have any questions about this process, please do not hesitate to contact Heidi or me.

Printer

Hello,

The black and white/color printer in the reference room is now leaving spots of black toner on paper. I have placed an example of it on the printer itself so people can decide if they still want to print.  Let me know if it gets worse.  There is a call into the service provider.

MUS-408 Reserves

You are going to get people coming in to use the article Physical metaphor in choral rehearsal for their MUS-408 class.  It is on reserve, not in archives. https://vufind.carli.illinois.edu/vf-ncc/Search/Reserves?course=353&inst=93&dept=&submit=Find.  You will find it in a binder on the shelf.

Thanks!
Heidi

Common courtesy

Hello,

Please do not go into any staff members desk without their permission to do so.  Just because we are not here at night it does not mean that the desks are free to go through.
