Student Coordinators for 2017/2018

As announced earlier this spring, we are transitioning away from having both ASCs and SCs to having a larger number of SCs next year. I am pleased to announce that three of our current ASCs will be SCs next year:

Laura DePasquale
Lisette Herrera
Sarah Obrist

We have also hired two additional SCs. Please congratulate:

Michaela Daly

Finally, we will need one substitute SC to fill in for Lisette in the fall while she is studying abroad. We are happy to note that Charlie Blim has accepted this position.

Applications for Summer Employment

RE:                 Applications for Summer Employment

We are starting to plan for summer at Oesterle Library. Are you interested in working for us part time this summer? We will have a limited number of positions available, and they will average 20 hours per week. We will have positions that are for the full summer (June 8 – September 8) as well as positions that are for summer term only (June 12 – August 4). If you would like to apply for a position, please complete this survey. You must submit the survey no later than Wednesday, April 19 in order to be considered for a summer position.


Housing will be available on campus.  Details regarding campus housing can be obtained from Residence Life.  If you are interested in living on campus, you should contact their office immediately for further information.

Gems KIN/SOA-360 class

Jerry Gems, as usual, has a lot of stuff on Reserve. There are a couple of pieces that may indicate on his syllabus that they are in the Archives, but they are really on Reserves! They are:

A History of the Young Women's Christian Association of North -Western College: Selected Pages Call # P1117

They are in white binders on the bottom right Reserves shelf. PLEASE DO NOT SEND THEM TO ARCHIVES!
