Laminator

We now have a laminator available for patron use. It is located in the workroom in the curriculum lab. There are supplies available for sale. If anyone comes to the desk asking for help or to buy supplies send them to the staff member or Student Coordinator.

Reminders

There has been a large amount of books that are being returned and put on the shelves without them being discharged. One of the most important things you do on the desk is to discharge the books. Please remember to do this!

Seniors need to get their information to me by tomorrow!

I need you to sign up for finals week hours and give me your Spring Term schedules by 5pm on Thursday!

Graduating Students

All students graduating this year needs to email (hkkaul@noctrl.edu) me with their majors and minors by Wednesday, February 24th.

End of Term Matters

It is time to complete the scheduling process for finals week and for Spring Term:

1. All student assistants are required to work their regular Winter Term schedule through Saturday, March 13th. ALL student assistants must sign up to work a minimum of 4 hours during finals week (March 14-17). Please see Heidi by 5:00 pm on Thursday, February 25th to sign up for your finals week hours.
2. Here is a blank schedule for Spring Term. Please complete your appropriate schedule and return to Heidi by 5:00pm on Thursday, February 25th. Please fill this out thoughtfully, and remember that any schedules that are too full for us to work with will be returned for revision!! If for any reason you are not able to work Spring Term, please let Heidi know ASAP.

New Books

We are starting a new program with our New Books. Starting today, the new books will have a green sticker by the barcode. When you are charging these items, do as you would normally do with any other item, charge, desensitize and stamp the due date. When you are discharging these items, resensitize and stamp them like you would any other book and then put them on the shelving cart shelf that has this on it:

















Don't put any other books on this shelf and don't put the new books anywhere else. Please pay attention to these green dots!

You will see at the information services desk a stack of "Text a Librarian" bookmarks. Every time someone checks any of our or any I-SHARE items out, please give them one of these bookmarks.
